Synopsis:
In "Bread," the struggle for survival transcends the boundaries of law and order. The narrative unfolds as a thief snatches a packet of bread from a young child, setting off a chase into a dense forest pursued by a determined police officer. Amidst the pursuit, both the thief and the cop tumble into a deep pit, trapped in an inescapable predicament. As they grapple with their dire circumstances, hunger sets in, and the stolen bread becomes their only hope for sustenance. Despite their initial animosity, the shared struggle for survival blurs the lines between thief and cop, leading to an unexpected moment of empathy as they break bread together in the darkness of the pit. Ultimately, "Bread" explores themes of desperation, moral ambiguity, and the universal human need for sustenance, challenging preconceived notions of right and wrong in the face of primal instincts.
